A few simple habits keep clothes looking new for longer. Here’s how to care for the main fabrics in your wardrobe.
Knitwear (cotton, acrylic and blends)
Wash knits inside out on a cool, gentle cycle and dry flat to keep their shape — hanging can stretch the shoulders. This keeps pieces like The Alpine Crewneck and The Vesper looking their best.
Denim
Wash jeans sparingly, inside out, in cold water, and air-dry — it preserves colour and fit. Frequent hot washes fade and shrink denim faster.
Tencel and fine fabrics
Tencel and finer knits keep their soft drape best on a gentle cycle and a low or no-heat dry. Reshape while damp.
The general rule
Cooler washes, gentler cycles and air-drying extend the life of almost everything — better for the clothes and for the planet.
